Modern Eyewear Same-Day

Modern Eyewear

Technology is essential in our daily lives. Our eyewear should be no different. Today’s lens options incorporate digital optics, blue-light filtering, thinner and lighter lenses, all to reduce unwelcome visual distortion and improve your vision to allow you to perform your daily life better than ever.

Did you know that your lenses could be digital? Digital lenses use precise measurements to give you the best, most customized vision possible. At Life Vision Eyecare, we use OptiKam Postural technology to digitally scan data points on your eyes, mapping minute variations in the shape and surface of the eye. The resulting prescription is written to the nearest 1/100th of a diopter, or the amount of correction needed for normal vision. In comparison, traditional lenses are rounded to the nearest one-quarter diopter. Life Vision Eyecare is the only eye care facility in Southwest Michigan to provide this technology.

Same-day prescription eyewear is available at Life Vision Eyecare!

Life Vision Eyecare is able to provide beautiful vision with modern and boutique eyewear. Dr. Cooper and her team are available to assist you in finding the perfect pair of eyewear customized to your style and appearance. We match our eyewear to your bone structure, complexion, eye and hair color, and brow shape to optimize your features and define the look you desire.

Contact lens technology has vastly improved over the years. Not all contact lenses are the same. The newer wear schedules and materials not only decrease the risk of corneal damage and infection, but also improve vision and comfort. There are now many more options for bifocal contact lens wear.  Dr. Cooper and her team are able to discuss these options and find the best contact lens brand to meet your vision goals while also ensuring the corneal health is not compromised.

Dry Eye Disease

Never heard of dry eye disease (DED)? You’re not alone, yet it is one of the most common eye diseases. It takes an experienced eye doctor to diagnose and manage DED. Symptoms of DED may include: burning, tearing for no reason, fluctuating vision, feeling of sand or grit in the eyes, stinging, sharp pain in the eye and more. There are many causes and risk factors of DED and unfortunately there is no cure. Dr. Cooper has over 10 years of experience in treating DED and can discuss causes, risk factors and how to manage your symptoms to provide the comfort and vision you need for your daily life.

Contacts

Dr. Cooper has a true passion for helping patients who have eye conditions where a typical eyewear or contact lens prescription would not improve vision. With state-of-the-art medical equipment, residency training and over 10 years of experience in fitting specialty contact lenses, Dr. Cooper  can often help those with keratoconus, corneal transplants, dry eye disease, high myopia, high astigmatism, corneal trauma and other corneal diseases which have reduced vision. Dr. Cooper may use various lenses technologies such as rigid gas permeable (RGP), hybrid or scleral lenses to regain vision, increase independence and improve daily function.
